POWDER/COMBO/NANO BROWS AFTERCARE

Your brows will go through a series of different phases while healing. Initially, your brows will appear very dark and bold, but they will heal into a natural and beautiful color! Your brows will also go through a phase where they look like they are disappearing, but this is normal! The epidermal layer of your skin is going through a regeneration of cells to heal from the trauma of your procedure. Your brows will take their final shape and color 4-8 weeks after your procedure.

Day of procedure: Some redness and swelling is to be expected and is completely normal. There may be some tenderness and discomfort, but this should be minimal and will usually disappear within 24-48 hours. The color of your brows may look dark or harsh, but the pigments heal into a beautiful and more natural color.

  • After the procedure, make sure to blot any excess lymph fluid (clear-looking liquid) with a clean gauze/paper towel.

  • Gently wash the treated area 2-3 hours after the procedure with a gentle cleanser. Pat them dry with a clean paper towel and let them air dry for a few minutes. After your brows are dry, gently apply a very thin layer of ointment over the treated area with clean fingers or a clean cotton swab.

Day 2-4: Your brows will appear very dark and you will notice some slight scabbing starting to form. Do not pick at these scabs, as this could interfere with the healing process and cause pigment loss.

  • Gently wash the treated area twice a day (morning and night) with a gentle, unscented facial cleanser. Pat your brows dry with a clean paper towel and let them air dry for a few minutes. After they are dry, gently apply a very thin layer of ointment over the treated area with clean fingers or a clean cotton swab.

Day 5-7: Your brows may appear as if they are "falling off" and scabbing. The color will appear light and patchy, but this is normal and to be expected. You may notice your eyebrows starting to itch, but do not itch or pick the scabs. Make sure to keep your brows dry during these days.

Day 8-14: You may think your brows have disappeared or it may appear that they have dramatically faded. Do not be discouraged! During this time, the skin will have an opaque/"milky" look to it. This is due to the tissue healing inside, even though the surface of the skin is healed. The actual color of the brow will reveal itself once it is healed.

Day 15-30: The color in your brows will start to return. Your brows may seem a bit patchy/uneven, which is why the Perfecting Session is essential! You can get your touch-up/Perfecting Session 4-10 weeks after your initial appointment.

*Please note that everyone's healing process will be different as everyone heals differently. Some individuals may scab more than average, while others may experience barely any scabbing. Age, skin type, health, diet, sun exposure, pre-existing conditions, etc. all play into how long it will take you to, personally, heal. Some individuals may heal quicker than anticipated, while others take longer than average.
